A Ponte is an initiative of four women who have decided to start a business with a purpose and a positive impact on the world. A courageous response to a contemporary challenge: work and make a living, carrying out activities of economic and social value, that at the same time allow the use of skills acquired during years of experience and the opening of new paths for the integral development of the self. Thus, A Ponte is positioned to do what its name suggests, that is, to create bridges between the will to make a change and the actual change. An excellent example of leadership for the materialization of this new world that emerges in the hearts of many people.

We can only thank our partner A Ponte for advising us on how to adapt our integrity policy and code of conduct to international donors’ requirements. Their work combined the best out there with the local culture of the Amazon, making it relevant and sustainable in the long term for local communities, key stakeholders and our technical team. We are happy and we only have positive feedback to provide.

Something that I became aware of and that I will put into practice after the workshop in which I participated: collaborative creation tools. The importance of connecting with co-workers, humanizing the organizational environment, in addition to opening up and expressing my feelings.
